Depending on where you consult, CHIMAS processes settlements seamlessly using two main protocols:
When you visit an in-network doctor, clinic, or pharmacy, you do not pay any cash. Simply present your valid CHIMAS membership card. The provider will submit their claim invoice directly to our claims desk for automated matching and payment.
If you consult an out-of-network specialist or purchase emergency drugs from an unaligned pharmacy, pay cash upfront and request an official invoice. Have the medical provider complete and sign our CHIMAS Claim Form, attach your original receipts, and email them or bring them to our offices. We process cash refunds within 48 to 72 hours.
